June 2025: How have you used AI to help you grow your business? Or How do you feel about AI?
Contributor of the prompt: *Tara Self
I was never a person quick to change or jump on the next new thing, I am learning to embrace new things quicker these days.
When Amazon first came around and online shopping started to blow up, I was not a fan. I’ve always been a “touch it and feel it before I buy it” kind of girl. But over time, I realized the convenience of clicking a few buttons and having what I need show up at my door. Total game-changer. It’s saved me so much time and energy, especially during busy seasons. Now I get the appeal, and I’m not mad about it!
I’ll be honest when AI first became a big thing, I was not here for it. It felt like this big, unknown force that might take over everything, including the parts of my business I love most: the human connection, the heart behind my message, and the creative flow.
But instead of running from it, I chose to get curious. I connected with a few pros who were already using it in healthy, intentional ways, and I realized something: AI doesn’t have to take anything over. In fact, if you use it right, it can give you more clarity, space, and energy for the stuff only you can do.
I use AI like a teammate. I bring my raw ideas to the table, and then I ask it to help me reword or polish things. Sometimes I even have it ask me questions so I can clarify what I really mean. That part surprised me…AI has helped me dig deeper into the “why” behind what I’m creating. It’s like a sounding board that helps refine my voice, not replace it.
The key is that I’ve trained it to get to know me. I’ve taught it about my business, my tone, my values, and the kind of impact I want to make. When I do that, what it gives me back feels so much more aligned. It’s still me just a little clearer and more dialed in.
And let me say this AI will never replace the impact of human-to-human connection ever! But when used wisely, with boundaries and intention, it can be a powerful tool that supports your vision rather than dulls it.
If you’ve been unsure or even scared of AI, I get it. It’s not about letting it run the show, it’s about using it to amplify the voice, heart, and message you already have.
Get curious and learn a little about AI, after all it is everywhere!
