July 2025 Blog Prompt: What areas of your life have you seen the greatest alchemy and what “gold” came out of it?
Contributor of the prompt: *Erin Christine

Alchemy is transformation. Not the cute kind with glitter and affirmations… but the gritty, soul-deep kind that comes from walking through fire, sometimes literally.

My story… it’s been full of those fire moments.

In my early twenties, I found myself navigating life as a single mama. That season taught me resilience like nothing else could. I worked hard… like, HARD!  I learned to stretch a dollar, hold boundaries, and dig deep into a strength I didn’t even know I had. There were nights I cried in the shower, then wiped my face and showed up like I had it all together. But God saw me. And He never let go.

Years ago, we lost everything in a house fire. Everything, except our faith! Photos, clothes, furniture gone in a flash. And as I stood staring at the ashes, holding my family and wondering how to start over, I had to choose: crumble… or rise. I chose to RISE!

My health struggles started in my twenties, random symptoms, constant fatigue, inflammation, and that nagging feeling that something just wasn’t right. I went from doctor to doctor, only to be brushed off or told “everything looks normal.” But deep down, I knew it wasn’t. Still, I pushed through, because that’s what we do, right? It wasn’t until I was almost 40, facing yet another major setback, that everything shifted. That moment became the final nudge; the sacred shove I needed to stop surviving and start fully stepping into my calling. I didn’t just want answers anymore, I wanted healing. Real, whole, lasting healing. That desire led me to holistic health, and ultimately, to becoming the coach God was calling me to be all along.

That was my alchemy.

The gold that came from all of it?

A grounded faith that carried me through the darkest valleys.
A deeper compassion for women walking through hard things.
A fire in my soul to help others heal… physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
And a business that lets me show up as the woman God called me to be.

I look back now and see how the fire wasn’t there to destroy me,  it was there to refine me. Every breakdown led to a breakthrough. Every loss made space for something more aligned. Every “why me?” turned into “use me.”

So, if you’re in the fire right now, I need you to know, it’s not the end. It’s the beginning of something bigger!

You’re not just being tested. You’re being transformed.

And trust me, your gold is coming.
