December 2025: Write a letter to yourself summarizing the year you just had and what you expect the New Year to be like.
Contributor of the prompt: *Cheryl Clark

Dear Me,

Look at you… still standing, still growing, still showing up even on the days that felt heavier than they should’ve. This year stretched you, refined you, and reminded you exactly who you are when life gets loud. You navigated challenges you never planned for, celebrated wins, and kept choosing growth when comfort tried to pull you back.

So, let’s take a breath and honor that.

This year, you learned how resilient you really are. You learned to trust yourself more deeply, lean into your faith more boldly, and let go of the things that quietly drained you. You walked through seasons that forced you to simplify, surrender, and realign and every single time, you rose a little wiser, a little softer, and a lot more intentional.

You discovered that peace is something you cultivate, not something you wait for. You learned that boundaries are love. You showed up for the people who matter and stopped apologizing for needing rest. You grew your business, your spirit, your mindset, and your capacity to receive support. And somewhere along the way, you started believing again in your dream, your purpose, and the future you’re creating.

Now, as I step into the new year, here’s what I am calling in:

A deeper sense of alignment.
Abundance that feels steady and grounded.
Health that supports my mission.
Relationships that nourish me.
Opportunities that match my worth.
Clarity in my next right steps.
And joy the kind that shows up in the small moments and stays.

This coming year isn’t about hustling harder or proving anything. It’s about living intentionally, trusting God’s timing, and moving with quiet confidence. It’s about taking what I have learned this year and letting it fuel how I lead, love, and show up!

I am ready for ease.
I am ready for expansion.
I am ready to step into the version of me who doesn’t just dream the life I  want… I build it.

So here’s my promise to yourself:

To honor your boundaries.
To choose who and what aligns.
To release what doesn’t.
To speak kindly to myself.
To keep showing up with grace, grit, and gratitude.
And to walk forward knowing I have already overcome so much… and I am only getting started.

The new year is going to meet me with open hands. It’s going to bring the kind of growth that feels good, the kind of clarity I have been praying for, and the kind of breakthroughs that remind me why I never gave up.

I have done well this year.
I will do even better in the next.

With gratitude and expectation,
My Future Self
